Frequently Asked Questions
Is Zone 2 good for leopard sightings?
Yes, Zone 2 is one of the better zones for leopard sightings in Ranthambore. The dense forest cover provides ideal habitat for leopards. However, leopards are naturally elusive and sightings are never guaranteed.
What makes Zone 2 different from Zone 1?
Zone 2 has denser forest cover compared to Zone 1's open lake areas. While Zone 1 is famous for tiger sightings near water, Zone 2 offers a more immersive forest experience with better chances of seeing leopards and a wider variety of birds.
