Zone 10 covers Halonda, Kailashpuri, and Devpura — a wildlife corridor zone known for raptors, migratory birds, and the transition between forest and agricultural land.
Zones are allotted by the Forest Department — no agency can guarantee a specific zone. You can request zones 6–10 and we will put Zone 10 — Halonda & Devpura forward, but the final allocation is theirs. Open every day except Tuesday, all year round — including through the monsoon.
About Zone 10 — Halonda & Devpura
Zone 10 is the outermost buffer zone of Ranthambore, covering Halonda, Kailashpuri, and Devpura over approximately 20 km. This zone functions as a wildlife corridor connecting the reserve to the surrounding landscape. It is particularly known for its raptor population — eagles, hawks, and vultures are commonly seen soaring overhead. The zone also attracts migratory birds during winter months. While tiger sightings are less common here, the zone offers a unique perspective on the interface between the protected reserve and the surrounding human-inhabited areas.
